The above plan is the ground floor duplex layout of east facing house. The total area of the modern design house is 2806 sqft, and the constructed area of this ground floor is 1786 sqft.  In this two bed house plan the living room, dining area, kitchen, portico or car parking, puja room, utility area, inner garden area, master bedroom with the attached toilet, kid’s bedroom with the attached toilet, and common toilets are available. Each room is designed as per vastu shastra principle. The staircase is provided in between the master bedroom and kid’s bedroom.

In this two bed house plan, the dimension of the living room is 25’6”x18’.  The dimension of the kitchen is 11’x10’.  The dimension of the dining area is 11’x10’.  The dimension of the puja room is 7’6”x6’.  The dimension of the car parking or portico is 21’6”x16’6”.  The dimension of the master bedroom is 17’x16’.  The dimension of the bathroom is 11’x4’.  The dimension of the kids' bedroom is 17’x11’.  The dimension of the attached bathroom is 11’x4’.  The dimension of the common bathroom is 7’6”x5’.  The dimension of the utility area is 7’6”x8’9”. 

On this ground floor, the living room is placed in the direction of north.  The kitchen is placed in the southeast corner.  The dining room is placed in the east direction.  The master bedroom is placed in the southwest corner. The master bedroom’s attached toilet is provided in the west direction.  The kid’s bedroom is placed in the northwest corner.  The kid’s bedroom is placed in the west direction.  The common bathroom is placed in the south direction.  The car parking area or portico is placed in the northeast corner.  The puja room is placed in the east side.
