The ground floor consists of a hall or living room, a master bedroom with an attached toilet, a kid's bedroom with an attached toilet, and a kitchen cum dining space. The house is provided with a staircase outside to access the above floor.
The hall or living area is 16.6x10 feet in size and placed in the northeast direction. The master bedroom of the designs for modern houses is 10x10.9 feet in size and placed in the southwest direction with an attached toilet. The attached toilet is 5.6x4 feet in size and placed in the northwest direction. The kitchen cum dining is 6x15.3 feet in size and placed in the southeast direction as per Vastu Shastra principles.
The outside space can be used in multiple ways such as sitout, two-wheeler parking, and or accommodating water tanks and borewells. As per Vastu shastra the underground water tanks, sumps and borewells should be placed in the northeast direction.
